South Lakes Walk, October 29^th 2000

A rather damp day walking in the South of the Lake District.

Meet at Brunt Knott Farm 10.00 a.m. to start walking at 10.15 a.m. Grid ref. NY 478 002. The proposed route is Brunt Knott Fell, Longsleddale, Gatescarth Pass, Kentmere Pike, Kentmere, Staveley Head Fell, Brunt Knott Farm. This walk is about 14 - 15 miles, however it can be cut short if desired, at a couple of points. It's a good circuit, with varied walking and good views, taking in two of Lakelands quieter valleys and a couple of tops. Tea and cake back at Brunt Knott Farm.
