First Ever KMC Online Meet

The club had been gifted some climbing gear by longstanding member Frank Williams.

The committee have agreed with Frank that we will auction the gear with 100% of all proceeds going into funding club training. In the last few years the BMC have provided funds to subsidise courses including winter skills, winter mountaineering, self rescue and navigation. Upcoming courses include winter mountaineering, self rescue, first aid, navigation and climbing coaching. All courses are advertised on the website and are open to the membership. Typically KMC organised courses are between 20% and 70% cheaper than the equivalent commercial offering with the added benefit of training alongside friends and climbing partners. All our courses have used highly reccommended and fully insured professional providors.

The auction process.

All items have a low reserve price (in brackets) to encourage a bid.

This is a great way to acquire more gear at a good price and support your club at the same time.

The auction closes at midnight on Boxing day 26th December. Winning bids will be notified the following day.

Once notified you have been successful please pay Andy. Payments via the club account is also acceptable, details in the members area. Email Andy if you pay by this method.

You can collect items in person from Andy by arrangement usually on weds at the indoor meets, on committee nights or by other arrangement. Items will not be posted.

All items are sold as seen, although you are welcome to contact Andy for more information prior to bid. No guarentee is given on any item and there are no refunds It is the responsibility of the buyer to assess its condition and decide if it is fit for whatever purpose intended. Neither the committee, club, Frank or Andy accept any liability for any item, its condition or a mismatch of the description with reality!
