More rain; sad times. Some members and propectives went to MCC and enjoyed a nice evening on the well set plastic routes. Wimberry however, must wait for next year...  

Wimberry Rocks

WHAT! The big scary crag of DOOM! Yep, the members have spoken...Wimberry is a really special crag. Steeped in myth and history it towers menacingly over Dovestone reservoir like a giant indian's head (its a local thing). While there are some tough offerings here, (including the latest and probably last gritstone E10) there are also many amazing routes for mere mortals. All of which are of high quality and worthy of the approach. Details are here:

The crag is normally approached from Dovestones reservoir carpark and will cost you about a £1 or so. Take some change. They've clamped down recently and I have been caught!! We'll aim to be at the crag at 6pm but its common that people arrive earlier. Keep an eye on scribble for updates and please send me any questions you may have. See you there guys!
