Cancelled - More Seasonal Bouldering: Almscliffe

Jared Kitchen

Almscliffe

The jewel in the Yorkshire gritstone circuit is in fact pretty brilliant. Known to be bursting with amazing routes, it is also known to be generously laden with amazing boulder problems. With a little early sunshine and crisp late winter air, there is no better arena for any gritstone connoisseur. It is a great place to hang out and climb in good company. Even when you’re on your own. Details can be found here:

I’ll aim to be there around 10am and will be geared up for bouldering. But don’t misunderstand, I’ll have a full trad rack and picnic too; The Great Western is too good to ignore! For those that don’t fancy the perfect Gritstone cliff, the Almscliffe area is great for a walk or run too, and if everyone brings a picnic we’ll definitely have a good day. Beer after anyone?

I really hope to see you all there!!
