KMC Xmas Bash, Ty Powdwr.

Its’ that time of year again to shake out your inner elf and come to Ty Powdwr for food, drink, some daft games and catching up with friends and making new ones.

Activity wise, there will be walking, scrambling, or climbing on both days with the weather shaping the options – if it is wintry then bring some spiky things! For the last few years, Sunday has often been a KMC group scramble up an old fave like Tryfan N. ridge or Crib Goch.

This year we will be producing an Indian themed Xmas meal, which, as usual, will be served at 7 pm and will be a three-course affair. Please contact Jo if you would like to help with the food prep or cooking, can offer homemade cake, or give general assistance on décor and in the kitchen.

Starters: Freshly made Poppadom’s with Pickles, Chutneys, Raita and Mango Lassi

Mains (ve = vegan; gf = gluten-free)

Roasted Squash and Chickpea Dhansak (ve, gf)

‘Butter’ Chicken (Dairy-free, gf)

Tandoori 3 day marinated lamb (Dairy-free, gf)

Homestyle Dhal (ve, gf)

Potato with onion, nigella, and poppy seed (ve,gf)

Accompaniments include Basmati rice, various Naan and flatbreads, Pickles and Chutneys

How do I order and how much does it cost?

The cost will be £15 per head and is by pre-order and pre-payment only. There is no need to pick from the menu in advance as there will be a bit of everything available for all. Any monies left over will be donated to Llanberis MRT. Last date for orders and payment is Friday 3rd December so we can get organised and buy ingredients. At  5.30pm ish on the Saturday, we will have the annual Xmas quiz in the lounge along with mulled wine (mulled wine included in the £15).
