What better way to celebrate the 50th anniverasry of Ty Powdwr than by coming along to the hut for the Bank Holiday weekend? As always there is plenty to do, ranging from mountaineering, scrambling, climbing and walking to shopping, tea-shops and just chilling out in the peace of our own hut.

Provided the weather is reasonable, Lucie and I will bring the BBQ along for use on Saturday evening, please bring something to grill, sizzle or char to your own taste, contributions to communal salad etc much appreciated. Vegetarians may like to liaise with each other if you would prefer a strictly non-meat grill, otherwise you're welcome to make use of a corner of the main BBQ.

Hoping for a good turnout and good weather for what should be a grand celebration of our wonderful hut.
