80th anniversary Joint KMC-FRCC Lakes Hut to Hut (TBC)

Lakes Hut 2 Hut 2024 – meet Leaders – Andy Stratford (Joint member of KMC/FRCC) and Brenda Fullard of the FRCC
2024 is the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Karabiner Mountaineering Club. This weekend is a sociable joint KMC / FRCC Hut2Hut meet with options for running / walking / scrambling / climbing - with a few route options for all possible conditions. It includes a meal, breakfast, and packed lunch the next day from the overnight hut (Rawhead), reducing the need to lug too much stuff round the hills.
The meet runs Salving House (Borrowdale) to Rawhead (Langdale) and return.
This meet is TBC until approved at the FRCC AGM in November. Full details will be published after that.
We can only take sign-ups from full members and associate members for this meet until the 1st April 2024. After this date, any remaining places will be open to prospective members.
