As a result, if you would like to attend this meet, you should have appropriate experience to stay safe in a winter alpine environment. As well as some of the world’s best ice climbing, Cogne valley also hosts a plenty of skiing, although skewed heavily to cross-country. While there are only 6 alpine slopes, there’s multiple cross-country loops from 1.5km to 45km. For those wanting a full day’s downhill skiing, Pila is less than an hours drive.
