Wildcat
Wildcat wild goose chase
***So I’m going to assume the signage is old as there’s no update on the RAD and the notice in UKC seems out if date. I was there fairly recently and noticed the BMC had done lots of work installing ab points with markers detailing which route was below. If access has changed again, I’m sure it would be very apparent in UKC and RAD. Therefore I’m going to suggest to ahead with the meet at wildcat on Sunday.
Hope to see you there!
(**Sorry everyone but looks like Wildcat is off this weekend:
Since mid-afdternoon on Tuesday May 2nd, notices banning climbing at this crag have been displayed. Please avoid the crag until the relevant discussions have been undertaken, (by the BMC?)
Will have a rethink of venue. Suggestions welcome!
will update website when decided on alternative venue.)
Thanks
Everyone welcome along to this great natural limestone crag.
BMC have re-negociated access with the land owners and have installed absail points at the top of the crag as there is no public access to the base from the footpath.
I'll be aiming at get to the Gullivers parking for 10am and will head over shortly afterwards. The walk in is straight forward, taking the path over the river, bearing right then left to get to the top of the crag.
Info can be found on the ukc and RAD pages:

Any questions give me a shout.
