Calling all members and prospectives alike. For the first time in over 10 years, the KMC returns to the northern edges of Kinder Scout!

There's a ton of good climbing to be had here with a decent spread throughout all the grades - the highest concentrations being in Severe, VS, HVS & E1 - including 2 top 50 VSs & 2 top 50 HVSs. Rockfax shows over 100 climbs and there's another 150 to go at in the Over the Moors Guidebook, which I'll have with me on the day. I'm certain all those that attend will find something suited for them.

The crag is quite condition dependent, so can all those intending to attend make sure they are say their prayers or make generous sacrafices to the Northern Edge gods in the run up to the meet. If that's proves to not be enough & conditions have been less than ideal the days/weeks prior, an alternative walk/scramble will be arranged nearby, or I will pick a more viable crag.

The approach is long and parking is limited, so car sharing and an early-ish start is recommended. I will set up a Whatsapp group in the weeks before the meet to sort out those arrangements and will post further details here when they've been confirmed
