Winter Warmer

Craig's Winter Warmer (aka The tea and stickies fun run)

Meet Promo:

The run will start from the public car park near the train station in Edale, the parking fee is circa £??? (Help if anybody knows the amount) so bring change and / or come together to save money or use the public transport option with the 9.22 train from Manchester Piccadilly arriving in Edale at 10.07am.

For those that have attended previous runs it is the usual format with a flat bit then a wee hill to get you warm. The run will be anywhere between between 7 and 18 kilometres dependent on the weather, your navigational confidence (KMC!) and your desire for pain! (my plan shows 12Km).

The conditions underfoot are likely to require shoes with good grip, fell running shoes if you have them would be ideal, although any running shoes with good grip will probably suffice.

Meet at the carpark in Edale at 10.15am for a 10.30 am start or earlier for the walkers if they want to join the runners for lunch.

The run should take circa 2 hours, allowing for a leisurely pace.

The plan is to then go to The Rambler for lunch.

Hopefully see you there!!!
