Iain McCallum Bamford/Stanage/Burbage Walk Sunday 10th February

Route: Bamford – Long Causeway – Stanage Edge – Higger Tor – Carls Wark – Burbage - Longshaw Lodge – Padley Gorge – Grindleford Station – Leadmill Bridge – Bamford

Map: Explorer OL1 & OL24 Dark Peak & White Peak Areas.

Meet at 9.30am for 9.45am start – Park in the dead end road off A6013 just south of Bamford station (GR206 825) or park at Bamford Station if you prefer.

This walk around the eastern side of the Peak District is on good paths and tracks. Hopefully the meet will be blessed by good weather. Distance about 12 miles. It can be modified to suit the conditions.
