POSTPONED TO SUNDAY 10TH MAY DUE TO RAIN FORECAST ON SATURDAY.
Come and find out more about the club and meet members new and old. Situated in the astoundingly beautiful heart of the Peak District this natural gritstone outcrop is described as having friendly routes in a picturesque setting. So, if you want to dust off your rock shoes and test your mettle on the grit, you are very welcome to join the fray on the top or bottom of the rope.
Parking can sometimes be an issue if you arrive late.
Meet from 10.30 (ish) around triangle buttress, which has a fabulous selection of Diff, Vdiff, Severe, HS and VS climbs all in a hair's breadth of each other. Perfect for enjoying the splendour of the Peak with a friendly bunch. As usual meet leader will aim to provide cake. Bring a flask in case there's a chilly wind.
Wet weather option is Manchester Climbing Centre followed by soup at Soup Kitchen in Manchester - exceedingly tasty. Watch the scribble for an update, which will be posted either the night before if certain or at 9am if it's uncertain.
