Ramshaw Rocks
Ramshaw Rocks
Oooo. Ramshaw has been voted in again. A really special place. Towering above the road the overhanging butresses look dark and ominous. It is true that there are some hard offerings here, some dangerous ones too, but there is also a long list of high quality routes aross all the grades, that pick perfect lines up the rocks. The crag is broken into several butresses that beg for exploration. I have not visited them all yet, and will definately be out to tick a few missed classics, and perhaps a sandbag or two. Ramshaw is definitley worth a visit. Happy days! Details can be found here:

We will aim to be climbing at 6pm but it is likely some will arrive earlier. The crag points North which is good if the weather is very hot, but sometimes that means midges too. Please be prepared. Keep an eye on scribble for updates and forward me any questions you may have. See you all at the crag.
