KMC  5 crags in  3 days 

I hope this meet suits all folks ranging from young guns to old timers and has beens like Jim.... 

I will be climbing with Jim but we are both very keen to share our rope with new or older members who aspire to climb on these amazing crags. 

It’s also the 50^th anniversary of the KMC club hut Ty Powdwr so what better way to celebrate this then to climb amazing routes on fantastic crags and share your stories and aspirations back at the brilliant KMC hut over a nice meal and few drinks – Jim and I will cook a curry Saturday evening for all (chicken and Veggie options). If you don’t fancy the hut dorms then camping on the paddock is an option (I will be camping).   

The 5 Llanberis crags are: 

• Clogwyn y Grochan 
• Carreg Wasted 
• Dinas Cromlech 
• Dinas Mot 
• Cym Las 

These crags resonate climbing history, legends, epics and amazing climbing feats like Nea Morin’s amazing route on Clogwyn y Grochan which she led Menlove Edwards up in 1941, Crackstone Rib (Joe Browns last climb before he hung up his boots) and Joe’s epic ascent of Cenotaph Corner and Ron Fawcet's filmed ascent of Lord of the Flies on Dinas Cromlech. Dinas Mot is a great crag to sandbag a small in stature mate (ask Jim as he relished doing this to me). I am really looking forward to this meet and wouldn't it be great to finish this meet by climbing up the superb final slab of Main Wall on Cym Las.
