Anglezarke is an awesome gritstone quarry near Horwich in Lancashire. The quarry is a horseshoe whos apect faces everywhere, and it has a large selection of good routes blanketing it's entire periphery. The quality is mostly found in the low-mid range of grades and includes one of the best E2's in on grit; the magnificent Golden Tower. The quarry is approached in minutes from the parking and is blessed with staked belays. The meet will begin at 6pm but it is usual for many to arrive earlier so check WhatsApp for updates. The crag is a quarry and some areas do have a little loose rock. A helmet is highly advised. The quarry does have some vegetation and there is potential for bugs should the evening be humid. Bug spray is therefore a useful additon to the pack. Bringing a headtorch and warm layer is also good practice. Thanks guys, see you at the crag.
