At The Globe in Glossop from 6pm, starting at 7pm.

CLIMBING & WALKING

Rivelin is our crag of choice this year. A well-protected crag with a great sprinkling of routes of all grades, to suit everyone. We haven't been here for ages (some of us never!), so come along and have a Rivelin adventure.

Meet: Rivelin Reservoir Car Park at 10.30am

Climbing at: Birch Buttress then Kremlin Crack (depending on the tawny owls!)

WALKING

Friendly Walk: Meet at 1.30pm at the Reservoir Car Park

The plan is for a leisurely walk of around 3-4 miles with some opportunities to make it shorter or longer depending on preference and athletic potentialities on the day. 

I'm looking for a walk leader for this, so if you'd like to help out, please email me: hello@emilypitts.com. A meet leader will be found, so if you fancy this, arrive at 1.30 ready for a gentle trot round the nearby countryside. 

PHOTO COMPETITION

If you haven't entered before, this is your opportunity to get your name on one of our esteemed and shiny KMC trophies, and of course to receive rapturous applause and eternal respect from your peers. Entry is easy and you will have ample opportunity to torment Jim Symon via your submission, if you so desire.

What about Jim? 
The continuing 'Jim Symon' category will feature as a separate and distinct category at the President's Hotpot, so make sure you enter something. *Archive entries will be accepted in this category only. Yes, it's time to trawl back through your vast repositories and to enter something special into this much loved category. Remember that you've got plenty of others years, so you can spread out your photographic gems and save a few for next year.

Deadline for submission is Sunday 5th April.
