Evening meet: Blackstone Edge

As far as we know no-one went on this midweek meet, not because the weather was terrible but more because it's a bit of a crap venue that should probably never have been on the list! Oh well, we know for next year!

Meet Promo:

Blackstone Edge

Blackstone edge is a natural gritstone edge near Littleborogh in Lancashire. The edge is a compact crag that possess a selection of good traditional routes and good bouldering at low to mid-grades. The walk in is short and not stressful, but the crag still feels remote and wild despite its proximity to a rather nice pub! Details can be found here:

We aim to meet at 6pm but it is likely that people will arrive earlier. The parking and walking start from The White House pub, Halifax Rd, Littleborough OL15 0LG. The crag detailed in Lancashire Rock and Western Grit; please familiarise yourself with the approach detials. If you have any issues, let me know and we can arrnage to meet for the walk in. I'll be at the carpark for 5.30. Please bring midge cream, a warm layer and a headtorch. I'll probably pop in the pub for a pint afterwards too. See you at the crag everyone.
